Well I didn’t meet the Toronto Bead Society deadline for finishing the piece but I need to meet the April 5 deadline for Bead and Button’s Bead Dreams 2010. So here are some new pics of my progress.
Pale Challenge my piece that I did for the Toronto Bead Society 2009 bag of bead challenge. This photo is also the front cover of the 2010 charity calender. I will post pic of my other vessels soon. I like doing the vessels because I am not so limited as I am with jewelry. With jewelry i have to worry about wear and tare
Everyone that sees my Pale Challenge that is on the front cover of the 2010 Toronto Bead Society asks how long it took to make so this year I am going to document the process with my iPhone. So here is the test pieces and my tools and beads laid out to start. I am going to go with the triangle piece. Stay tuned to see how my mind works and come join me with my obsession/insanity.
I know I need to write more I sometimes just can think of what to say. I am working on getting more work for the 3 upcoming shows. I will be at the Queen West Market on Aug 16 and 17. Hype on King on Sept 6 and 7 and Queen West Art Crawl-Outdoor Art show
So I have had my nose to the grind stone making more work. Hers is some examples
Gemstone Spiral Rope Bracelets
Beaded Rings
What do you think?

What a mess these few days have been. On Friday evening I fell while going to walk Mac. I have a this disease/condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome so if I fall I usually hurt myself quite badly. This time not too bad but I am still really feeling it.
So I decided that I would make that bag I was talking about I am about half way through. I took this picture with my phone so it’s not great but I will shoot a better one once I am finished.
I am going to start planting my garden once my body and the weather starts to cooperate (stay tuned for pics)
So it wasn’t too bad and I will get better so maybe the title should be good and not so good
